Born a Canuck fan (Week 5)

During her fifth week of life (December 13-19), Kennedy took in her first Canuck game! Prof-Man and I were a little leary of taking her for a few reasons:

(1) we weren't sure if it was safe (despite the gigantic earmuff things that we put on her tiny little head);
(2) we weren't sure if she'd be too cold (hence the ridiculous snow suit type thing she ended up wearing); but mostly...
(3) we weren't sure we'd get to see ANY of the game (if she spent the whole game crying etc.).

All in all, our first attempt was pretty successful. Red Dragon shed a few tears (mostly around mealtime) which meant that I spent about 10 minutes of game time strolling the concourse and bouncing her (which she quite enjoyed). Got a "ohh my goodness, isn't she adorable" comment from a lady in the women's washroom while I was changing her and she was wailing like I was beating her (yeah right lady -- she looks like a little angel when her face is purple from the shrieking...thanks for the lie though!).

The game was versus the stinkin' Toronto Maple Leafs (on Decemver 18)...which upped the entertainment factor (particularly since Vancouver laid a beating on them!). Final score: Canucks 4 - Leafs 1.
