Clearly, I'm having another unproductive day at work today...I've resorted to thinking about baby names, yet again (this has admitedly become a bit of an obsession). My most recent list is reproduced in the poll below...I thought I'd stick it up as a poll, because interaction is always fun! :) (Actually, it's because I'm bored and wanted to see if I could create a functioning poll!).
A word of caution: Please keep your negative comments/thoughts to yourself. Even if you absolutely HATE a name...may I suggest that you keep your comments positive (i.e. that's not my favorite name on the list). Why? Because Baby-Bean may read this blog someday...and if she ends up with the name that you publicly lambasted, she might not be very impressed...with you or me! :)
I'm finding the whole "choosing a name" thing quite stressful. I mean, this decision will be with Baby-Bean her whole life! Well...I suppose that's not necessarily the case...it might only be with her until she turns 18 and decides to get a legal name change to "Red Dragon" (aww...daddy's little girl!).
Seriously though...it kind of freaks me out...I grew up loving my name (if I could name Baby-Bean after myself without wanting to give myself a leg kick, I'd totally do it)...but I know tons of people who really didn't like their names. I'd hate for Baby-Bean to be one of those people.
Maybe we'll have a better idea after her 3D/4D ultrasound next week...
Looks like I was the first to vote. I also like Mackenzie, Madison and Makayla. :)
ReplyDeleteYay -- first vote and the poll seems to be working!
ReplyDeleteTry being a teacher...I can't even imagine being pregnant now because almost all of the names on your list I can think of students who I would never name a child after lol...except Arianna and Kennedy (like those two equally) :)
